METEOR (2027)
The research vessel “METEOR 2026”

Newly built under the project name “METEOR IV”, this vessel will replace the decommissioned research vessels POSEIDON and METEOR (1986).
Commissioning is planned for 2027. The vessel is a significantly enhanced successor to the research vessel SONNE, drawing on the design of the latter while incorporating the major technological advances of the past ten years.
